Having a meal should be a feast - this also includes breakfast. That’s why we only serve top notch, artisanal regional produce at the breakfast buffet. Everything is organic and fresh daily; each morning bread is delivered by the local bakery, as are the traditionally made fruit preserves, the granola and the delicious, authentic, Limburgish 'vlaaien', sweet pies covered in delightful fresh fruit. The eggs, milk, and yoghurt are supplied by the dairy farm, cheese comes from the cheesemonger, meat from the artisanal butcher, you get the idea.

Sometimes we forget to share the most valuable things, simply because we’ve gotten used to it. Things like clean, drinking water. If sharing is the source of our existence, then water is the source of our lives. Water is essential to the continuation of our existence. It’s no wonder that the United Nations has declared access to clean, drinking water a basic human right in 2010. Over 780 million people don’t have this access though. MARIE-STELLA-MARIS has the ambition to make clean, drinking water available to everyone.
